"Chalk and Duster"movie :An Appeal shivanjay:Dr.Sanjay Honkalse,VRS as an economics teacher.
Aristotle "ALL THOSE WHO MEDITATED ON THE FUTURE OF MANKIND HAVE COME TO CONCLUSION THAT FATE OF EMPIRES DEPEND ON EDUCATION OF THE YOUTH"
VIVEKANAND : "EDUCATION IS THE MANIFESTATION OF PERFECTION ALREADY PRESENT IN MAN"
EDUCATION IS A PROCESS OF BRINGING DESIRED CHANGES IN A MAN.
I APPEAL TO U ALL TO PLEASE SEE THE MOVIE "chalk and duster"I repeat see (I'm not using the word 'patronise') the movie to understand the present scenario and system of education.The plot and presentation of the movie rather cinematography of the movie is brilliantly wonderful. The tactics and and the management politics leading to exploitation of sincere , devoted and programmed teachers in systematic way without falling in to the trap of rules and causing psychosomatic pressure on them and thereby making them only to resign either by power tactics or sweet sugar coated pressure is partially (partially showing tip of the ice only)is shown in the movie . As a trained ,more than qualified teacher I have witness ,fought and have suffered this.Mass of the people ,either do not understand this or keep away or fall pray to authorities as they want not to be in their bad books or they have ambition to rise by putting their feet on the shoulders of such victimised but capable teachers. Thank god I was not required to give an open or formal अग्निपरीक्शा (sorry my language tool dies not give ksh in devnagri) but unfortunately even my teacher-student did not stand by the righteous sideI.So I fought the battle all alone as the only supporting Sr.teacher also took a transfer out of feeling of desperation and alienation.I always used to say that "I am not against anybody but against tendencies "as I can not change system ,rather Whatever the system is one can exploit ,rather harness it to its best as I have witnessed it with my role models in my almater Ruparel college and my breadwinner institution.
Incidentally my students, by being unaware,only took me to see the movie on my birth day,some if whom are teachers now and facing and fighting alone the same scenario.
So I appeal to all to see the movie ,and appeal to Govt to encourage the masses to see the movie and make it tax free.
