Kesari :The  Bravest battle ever fought. 21 against 10000.
Great fighters with great heart.

One of the best war only 21 against 10000.

Great fight fought with loin heart.
THe film is based on one of the bravest battle ever fought.Based on a true story the film thru disclaimer in the beginn8ng has taken true cinematic liberty (Sanjay leela B  pk note) nd has fit in all the  present socio-politico ,economic scenario - Jihad , true secularism (hero  renovating the Misqueas )exploitation nd abuse of women,patriotism,self respect,t erotism n use if children in Jihad - as  undercurrent in the film .It is a story of bravery by 21 sikh jawan fighting 10000 Afghans in September 12,1897 for two days . It was fought in the
It occurred in the North-West Frontier Province(now Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan).

Battle of SaragarhiThe British Indian contingent comprised 21 Jat Sikh soldiers of the 36th Sikhs (now the 4th battalion of the Sikh Regiment), who were stationed at an army post and were attacked by 10000 to 12,000 Afghans. The Sikhs, led by Havildar Ishar Singh, chose to fight to the death, in what is considered by some military historians as one of history's greatest last-stands. The post was recaptured two days later by another British Indian contingent.

Sikh military personnel commemorate the battle every year on 12 September, as Saragarhi Day..
They fought fir honour ,patriotism nd self respect .
Akshay Kumar's bearing is Superb ,he is proving to be a different league than Khan s .The full marks nd credit to writer ,director ,visualizer Anurag Singh.Many films were declared on the subject ,by people like  Ajay Dengan but ...There was a successful serial on the same subject last year .
All and all this is a must watch epic drama nd a feather in Akshay's cap earning around 25 stores on an opening day.
Cinematography us excellent .The battle though lost was a strategic win for Britishers
PS :One more such battle  perhaps more amazing and victorious was fought by maratha worrier Baji prabhu Deshpande 300 against 10000 ,in1660 12 July .I don't know why it s nit one the bravest battle .:

Will it be possible for anyone to throw light on why this Maratha battle ,which was a both a strategic nd real win ,is not amongst bravest battle ever
